The mission of Delaware Physicians' Health Program is to assist physicians, residents, medical students, physician assistants and physician assistant students who may have health problems which if left untreated, could adversely affect their ability to practice medicine safely.

 Physicians' Health Program (PHP) is a program founded by the MSD that provides confidential consultation and support to physicians, residents, medical students and physician assistants facing health concerns related, but not limited to:

• Stress of managing a practice
• Coping with a competitive work environment
• Financial pressures
• Dealing with administrative burdens
• Work-family balance
• Litigation stress
• Hospital/Health care system related difficulties
