A Message from the President
As the fall comes around again and the COVID-19 pandemic continues to roar among us (or at least roll loudly), it is time to turn our sights toward the Annual Meeting of the Council of the Medical Society of Delaware. We again plan to have the meeting virtually in light of safety concerns associated with the pandemic. Since our successful meeting last year we look forward to gathering once again in the comfort of our homes, offices, or wherever your computer may take you. It is anticipated we will have a majority of Council members present to conduct business in an efficient, effective, and stress-free manner.
In this regard, it is important for you to be as involved as possible so the meeting is one in which we get as much done as we can in our allotted time.
That means it is incumbent upon all of us to be prepared for the meeting. Preparation means reviewing the agenda and resolutions to be presented.
This also means learning as much as you can about the issues to be discussed so we can have meaningful conversations. It is okay to disagree as long as we all have the facts. Only in this way can we move MSD forward in a direction that is full of hope, promise, and enlightenment for all.
Looking forward to seeing you at the Annual Meeting of the Council!

Matthew J. Burday, DO
President
